What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee proposes a new supplier, Face Foundrie has 90 days to notify the franchisee of its decision. This 90-day period begins after Face Foundrie receives the request and completes its evaluation and testing of the proposed supplier, if such testing is required by Face Foundrie. The notification must be in writing.

Face Foundrie has the right to inspect the supplier's facilities and request samples for evaluation, with the franchisee bearing the costs of evaluation and testing. These costs are the greater of $2,500 or the reasonable cost of the evaluation and testing, including any travel expenses incurred by Face Foundrie.

Face Foundrie retains the right to deny approval for any reason, including limiting the number of approved suppliers. This means a franchisee cannot assume approval even if the supplier meets basic standards. Face Foundrie also reserves the right to re-inspect approved suppliers and revoke approval if they no longer meet the current criteria. If approval is revoked, the franchisee must immediately stop selling or using items from the disapproved supplier.
