What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Face Foundrie has the right to increase the Technology Fee charged to franchisees. The Technology Fee is currently $400 per month.
The FDD states that Face Foundrie may increase the Technology Fee upon notice to the franchisee. This fee covers certain technologies used in the operation of the Facial Bar, including website hosting, at least two email addresses per Facial Bar, and access to Face Foundrie's electronic systems. However, it does not include the subscription to the designated business management software, which the franchisee pays directly to that provider.
Face Foundrie also reserves the right to upgrade, modify, and add new technology and/or software, and franchisees are responsible for any increase in fees that result from these changes. This means that a Face Foundrie franchisee should be prepared for potential increases to the Technology Fee during the term of their Franchise Agreement, especially if Face Foundrie implements new technology or software upgrades.
