What happens if the Face Foundrie franchisee's Salon Manager leaves their employment?

Face_Foundrie Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

supervision or management of any additional Face Foundrié Facial Bar(s). Each Face Foundrié Facial Bar must have a different Salon Manager. You acknowledge and agree that the appointment of a Salon Manager will not relieve your Operating Partner of his or her supervisory responsibilities for the operation of your Facial Bar. You and your Operating Partner shall remain fully responsible for your Salon Manager's performance. In the event that your Salon Manager leaves your employment, dies or becomes disabled, or ceases to meet our qualifications, your Operating Partner must immediately assume day-to-day operational management and supervision of your Facial Bar on a full-time basis until the appointment of a new Salon Manager who meets Franchisor's qualifications and is approved by Franchisor.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee's Salon Manager leaves their employment, dies, becomes disabled, or no longer meets the franchisor's qualifications, the franchisee's Operating Partner must immediately take over the day-to-day operations and supervision of the Facial Bar on a full-time basis. This arrangement must continue until a new Salon Manager is appointed who meets Face Foundrie's qualifications and receives their approval.

The franchisee has 60 days to appoint a replacement Salon Manager after the previous one's departure. This ensures that the Facial Bar continues to operate under appropriate supervision and maintains Face Foundrie's standards. The replacement Salon Manager must also complete the designated training programs to Face Foundrie's satisfaction.

Face Foundrie requires written notification if an Operating Partner or Salon Manager can no longer fulfill their duties. The franchisee must then take corrective action within 30 days of this notice. This includes ensuring that any successor or replacement Salon Manager completes the initial training program no more than 30 days after being appointed. However, Face Foundrie may offer an abbreviated training program for approved replacements who previously held designated positions at the Facial Bar. The franchisee is responsible for all expenses related to the replacement's training, including travel, living costs, and wages.
