Answer from 2025 FDD Document

As Area Developer identifies prospective sites, it will notify Franchisor, and Franchisor will review criteria about the prospective sites that Franchisor deems appropriate.

Area Developer will assist Franchisor by providing Franchisor any information Franchisor requests about any prospective sites.

If Franchisor has not approved a site within thirty (30) days after Area Developer provides Franchisor with all information Franchisor requested about the site, the site shall be deemed disapproved.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor's timely response to an Area Developer's site approval requests is specifically addressed. The Area Developer is responsible for identifying and securing sites for Face Foundrie Facial Bars, submitting them to Face Foundrie for approval. Face Foundrie provides site selection guidelines but no direct site-selection assistance.

As the Area Developer identifies potential sites, they must notify Face Foundrie, who will then review the site criteria. Face Foundrie is obligated to review the information provided by the Area Developer regarding prospective sites. According to the FDD, if Face Foundrie does not approve a site within thirty (30) days after the Area Developer has supplied all requested information, the site is automatically deemed disapproved.

This 30-day period provides a defined timeframe for Face Foundrie to respond to the Area Developer's submissions. This clause ensures that the site selection process moves forward and prevents delays caused by the franchisor's inaction. However, the Area Developer bears the risk of disapproval if Face Foundrie does not find the site suitable within that timeframe.
