What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at conferences is not strictly mandatory for franchisees, but Face Foundrie may require the franchisee, the Operating Partner, and/or one or more of the managers of the Facial Bar to attend conferences which may be offered by Face Foundrie from time to time. This means that while not guaranteed, attendance could be required.
If attendance is required, the franchisee is responsible for covering the travel and living expenses for those attending. Additionally, the franchisee must pay Face Foundrie's then-current registration fee for each person attending the conference. This could represent a significant added cost for franchisees, especially if multiple individuals are required to attend.
It is important for prospective Face Foundrie franchisees to factor in these potential costs when evaluating the franchise opportunity. Franchisees should inquire about the frequency and location of these conferences, as well as the estimated costs, to better understand the financial implications of mandatory attendance. Understanding these requirements will help franchisees budget appropriately and assess the overall value of the franchise.
