- (l) Participate in all national, regional or local advertising and promotional activities Franchisor requires.
Franchisee understands that Franchisor implements promotions such as discount coupons, certificates, frequent customer cards, special offering promotions, gift cards and other activities intended to enhance customer awareness of the System and build traffic at Face Foundrié Facial Bars on a national, regional or local level.
Franchisor may establish procedures and regulations related to these promotions in the Operations Manual and Franchisee agrees to honor and participate in these programs in accordance with such procedures and regulations specified by Franchisor in the Operations Manual or otherwise in writing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Face Foundrie Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to participate in national, regional, and local advertising and promotional activities as required by Face Foundrie. Face Foundrie implements promotions such as discount coupons, certificates, frequent customer cards, special offering promotions, gift cards and other activities intended to enhance customer awareness of the System and build traffic at Face Foundrié Facial Bars on a national, regional or local level. Franchisees must adhere to the procedures and regulations related to these promotions as specified in the Operations Manual or in writing.
In addition to these required advertising activities, Face Foundrie franchisees must spend a minimum of 2% of gross sales annually on local marketing. Franchisees must submit a marketing plan for their local marketing program to Face Foundrie for review and approval at least 60 days before the end of each calendar year. Franchisees must also provide proof of these local marketing expenditures upon Face Foundrie's request. During the initial 12 months of operations, franchisees must spend a minimum of $3,000 per month on approved digital advertising with approved vendors and $2,000 per month on other paid marketing tactics approved by Face Foundrie.
Face Foundrie has established a System Marketing Fund where franchisees must pay 3% of gross sales per month. These contributions will be used for brand development initiatives and programs intended to maximize general public recognition, acceptance, and use of the Face Foundrie system on a national, regional, or local basis. Face Foundrie maintains control over the expenditure of these funds. Franchisees must also obtain Face Foundrie's approval for any advertising and marketing materials not prepared or previously approved by Face Foundrie within the preceding 12-month period. This approval process ensures that all advertising aligns with Face Foundrie's brand standards and marketing strategies.
