What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from making any agreements, warranties, guarantees, or representations in Face Foundrie's name or on its behalf. The franchise agreement states that the relationship between Face Foundrie and the franchisee is that of independent contractors.
This means that a Face Foundrie franchisee cannot act as an agent of Face Foundrie and cannot bind Face Foundrie to any obligations. The franchisee is responsible for making it clear in all dealings with customers, lessors, contractors, suppliers, public officials, employees, and others that they are the independent owner of the Face Foundrie Facial Bar.
This protects Face Foundrie from liability for the franchisee's actions and ensures that customers and other parties understand that they are dealing with an independent business owner, not Face Foundrie itself. Franchisees must conspicuously identify themselves as the owners of the Facial Bar in all their business dealings.
