What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must designate a Salon Manager at least 90 days before the opening of their Facial Bar. The Salon Manager must meet Face Foundrie's qualifications and be approved by them to supervise the Facial Bar's operations full-time. Each Face Foundrie Facial Bar must have a different Salon Manager.
The appointment of a Salon Manager does not relieve the Operating Partner of their supervisory responsibilities. The Operating Partner remains fully responsible for the Salon Manager's performance. If the Salon Manager resigns, is terminated, or no longer meets Face Foundrie's qualifications, the Operating Partner must immediately assume day-to-day operational management and supervision of the Facial Bar on a full-time basis until a new, qualified Salon Manager is appointed.
If a Salon Manager leaves, dies, becomes disabled, or no longer meets Face Foundrie's qualifications, the Operating Partner must immediately take over the Facial Bar's management until a replacement is found. A replacement Salon Manager must be appointed within 60 days after the previous one's departure. The names of the Operating Partner and Salon Manager must be provided in writing to Face Foundrie, along with any other required information to determine if they meet the qualifications, and this information must be kept current.
Any successor or replacement Salon Manager must successfully complete the Initial Training Program no more than 30 days after appointment, unless they already work in the Facial Bar as an esthetician or front bar attendant, in which case they attend Manager Boot Camp instead. No one can offer services or supervise the Facial Bar until they complete the required training program. The franchisee must pay the current training fee ($1,200 per attendee, plus costs for the Initial Training Program or $800 per attendee, plus costs for Manager Boot Camp) for any successor or replacement Salon Manager attending training.
