What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated cost for furnishings, fixtures, and equipment ranges from $57,100 to $86,000. This estimate is influenced by several factors, including whether the franchisee obtains financing, the size of the Facial Bar, and the specific needs for furnishings, fixtures, and equipment, including décor items. The estimate includes the cost of equipment needed for operation, such as a HydraFacial machine and a cryo machine, as well as furniture for treatment rooms and common areas. The low end of the range assumes the franchisee obtains financing for the HydraFacial machine. As of the date of the FDD, new franchisees may be able to use a HydraFacial machine for a four-month period free of charge under a loaner program, and third-party financing is available for the HydraFacial machine.

The size of the Facial Bar directly impacts the cost, as a larger space will require more furnishings and equipment. Transportation costs can also affect the overall expense. Face Foundrie requires franchisees to purchase equipment necessary to operate the Facial Bar with brands and types of equipment that they require.

Additionally, the FDD notes that costs of leasehold improvements may vary if items typically included in the furnishings, fixtures, and equipment category, such as flooring, lighting, and millwork, are instead included in the leasehold improvements category. This means that how the lease agreement is structured can shift costs between these two categories. Therefore, prospective franchisees should carefully consider these factors and discuss them with Face Foundrie and their landlord to accurately estimate their initial investment.
