Face_Foundrie Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We expect that the time from the date you sign the Franchise Agreement to the date you open your Facial Bar to be between seven and nine months. The factors that affect this timing are financing, building permits, zoning, and local ordinance issues, and delayed installation of equipment, fixtures, and signs. Your Facial Bar must be open and operating within 10 months after you sign the Franchise Agreement, subject to any extensions that have been granted.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated time between signing the Franchise Agreement and opening a Facial Bar is seven to nine months. However, several factors can influence this timeline. These include securing financing, obtaining necessary building permits, resolving zoning and local ordinance issues, and managing the timely installation of equipment, fixtures, and signs. Franchisees should be prepared for potential delays related to these factors, as they can extend the opening timeline.
Face Foundrie requires the Facial Bar to be open and operating within 10 months of signing the Franchise Agreement, although extensions may be granted. This timeframe underscores the importance of proactive planning and diligent management of the various steps involved in opening the franchise. Franchisees need to work closely with Face Foundrie and local authorities to navigate potential hurdles and ensure timely compliance with all requirements.
For franchisees entering into an Area Development Agreement, the site approval process is also crucial. The franchisor must approve each proposed site for a Facial Bar. Furthermore, individual Franchise Agreements must be signed, and a Facial Bar must be operational under each agreement within the Development Schedule's specified timeframe. This schedule may differ from the standard Franchise Agreement, adding another layer of complexity to the opening timeline. The franchisor retains the right to disapprove a proposed location unless explicitly approved in writing, emphasizing the need for careful site selection and adherence to Face Foundrie's criteria.
