What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise term is ten years. Specifically, Face Foundrie grants the franchisee the right to operate a Facial Bar at a specific location for a term of ten years, which commences on the effective date of the Franchise Agreement.
At the end of the initial term, a Face Foundrie franchisee has the option to acquire a successor franchise for one additional ten-year term. This renewal is not automatic and is subject to certain conditions. The franchisee must be in compliance with the existing Franchise Agreement and other agreements with Face Foundrie.
Additionally, Face Foundrie must not have determined that any changes in laws or regulations would adversely affect its ability to offer franchises in the location. The franchisee must also maintain possession of the premises, hold all necessary permits and licenses, and be current on all obligations to Face Foundrie and its affiliates. If all conditions are met, the franchisee can renew for another ten-year term under the terms of Face Foundrie's then-current franchise agreement, which may differ from the original agreement.
