What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Face Foundrie Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to maintain maintenance and/or service contracts on all equipment and machinery that Face Foundrie designates. Face Foundrie retains the right to specify the vendors for these contracts, as well as the requirements that the contracts must meet. This means a franchisee cannot choose their own vendors for these specific maintenance and service contracts.
This requirement ensures that all Face Foundrie locations maintain a consistent standard of equipment maintenance and service. By designating specific vendors, Face Foundrie can ensure that the service providers are qualified and meet their standards. This can help protect the brand's reputation and ensure that customers receive a consistent experience at all locations.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they will need to factor in the costs associated with using Face Foundrie's designated vendors for equipment and machinery maintenance. It also means they will have less flexibility in choosing service providers, but it can also provide peace of mind knowing that the vendors have been vetted by the franchisor. Franchisees should inquire about the typical costs associated with these contracts and the process for selecting and approving vendors.
