What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the results of a background and credit check are critical to becoming a franchisee. Face Foundrie requires potential franchisees to undergo a background check that includes a criminal/civil record search and a credit check. This check is conducted after the 14-day waiting period following receipt of the disclosure document.

The cost for this background check ranges from $200 to $300 per owner, payable either to Face Foundrie or their designated provider. The FDD states that Face Foundrie will not finalize the Franchise Agreement until they have received and reviewed the results of this background check.

Furthermore, Face Foundrie explicitly reserves the right to reject an applicant if the background check and credit check results are deemed unsuitable. This means that a negative background check can disqualify a potential franchisee, making the background check a mandatory and decisive step in the approval process.
