What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Face Foundrie has broad discretion to deny approval of a proposed new supplier. Specifically, Face Foundrie may deny approval for any reason, including limiting the number of approved suppliers. This gives Face Foundrie significant control over the supply chain and product quality within its franchise system.

Before a Face Foundrie franchisee can use a new supplier, they must submit a written request for authorization, along with any information and samples Face Foundrie requires. Face Foundrie can also require its representatives to inspect the supplier's facilities and test samples, with the franchisee bearing the costs. These costs are set at the greater of $2,500 or the reasonable cost of the evaluation and testing, which may include Face Foundrie's travel expenses.

Face Foundrie will then notify the franchisee in writing of its decision within 90 days after receiving the request and completing the evaluation and testing, if required. Face Foundrie also reserves the right to re-inspect approved suppliers and revoke approval if they no longer meet Face Foundrie's criteria. If approval is revoked, the franchisee must immediately stop purchasing from the disapproved supplier and cease selling or using any disapproved items or products. This ensures Face Foundrie maintains consistent standards across all franchise locations.
