What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must submit a written relocation request at least 60 days before the intended relocation date. This request must include the new location and be accompanied by a $1,000 Relocation Fee. Face Foundrie's prior written consent is required for any relocation, but the document states that such consent will not be unreasonably withheld.
This requirement provides Face Foundrie with ample time to assess the suitability of the proposed new location. This ensures that the relocation aligns with Face Foundrie's strategic objectives and does not negatively impact other franchisees. The 60-day notice allows Face Foundrie to evaluate potential conflicts with existing territories and assess the demographic and market conditions of the new location.
The $1,000 Relocation Fee likely covers Face Foundrie's administrative costs associated with reviewing the relocation request and evaluating the new site. Franchisees should also be aware that they are responsible for any additional expenses Face Foundrie incurs while facilitating the relocation. This could include travel costs for site visits or legal fees for reviewing lease agreements.
It is important for prospective Face Foundrie franchisees to understand these relocation terms, as moving a business can be a significant undertaking. Failing to adhere to the 60-day notice period or not obtaining prior written consent could result in a breach of the Franchise Agreement. Franchisees should carefully consider these factors before deciding to relocate their Facial Bar.
