What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to pay their monthly royalty fees no later than the 5th day of each month. This payment covers the gross sales from the previous month throughout the term of the Franchise Agreement. The royalty fee is calculated as the greater of 7% of gross sales or a minimum royalty fee.
In addition to the royalty fee, Face Foundrie franchisees also pay a monthly marketing contribution equal to 3% of gross sales. This payment is also due no later than the 5th day of each month, aligning with the royalty fee payment schedule. Franchisees are also responsible for a technology fee, which covers email hosting, website maintenance, and other technology-related services designated by Face Foundrie. This technology fee is also due at the same time as the royalty fee.
If a Face Foundrie franchisee fails to report gross sales within the required time frame, Face Foundrie has the right to process an automated bank draft for 120% of the last collected royalty fee, marketing contribution, and other fees. This ensures timely payments and covers any potential discrepancies. If the automated draft is less than what the franchisee actually owes, Face Foundrie will debit the remaining balance from the franchisee's account. Conversely, if the draft exceeds the amount owed, Face Foundrie will credit the excess amount to the franchisee's account for the following month.
