What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must maintain Commercial General Liability Insurance. This insurance must include coverages for products/completed operations, contractual liability, personal and advertising injury, fire damage/damage to rented premises, and medical expenses. The policy must have a combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 in the aggregate.

If a Face Foundrie franchisee owns, rents, or identifies any vehicles with any Mark or vehicles are used in connection with the operation of the Facial Bar, they must also carry automobile liability coverage for owned, non-owned, scheduled, and hired vehicles. All coverages must be on an occurrence basis and provide waivers of subrogation in favor of Face Foundrie.

Face Foundrie also requires that the franchisor is named as an additional insured under each of the insurance policies. Franchisees must provide certificates of insurance to Face Foundrie before opening their Facial Bar and at least 30 days before the expiration of any policy. These certificates must include endorsements requiring the insurance company to give Face Foundrie at least 30 days' written notice in the event of material alteration, termination, non-renewal, or cancellation of the coverages, as well as notice of any claim filed under the policy within 30 days after filing.

Face Foundrie retains the right to increase or change the minimum limits and types of insurance coverage required at its sole discretion during the term of the Franchise Agreement. If a franchisee fails to maintain the required insurance coverage, Face Foundrie has the option to obtain such coverage on the franchisee's behalf, and the franchisee must then pay Face Foundrie the premiums incurred.
