- (c) Franchisee shall make, from time to time, such upgrades and other changes to the Computer System and Required Software as Franchisor may request in writing, and Franchisor may periodically require Franchisee, at its expense, to upgrade or update the Computer System and Required Software to remain in compliance with the standards, specifications and requirements required by Franchisor (collectively, "Computer Upgrades").

According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, 'Computer Upgrades' are defined as upgrades and other changes to the Computer System and Required Software that the franchisor may request in writing. The franchisee is responsible for the expense of these upgrades.
The Computer System includes various hardware and systems used in the Face Foundrie Facial Bar, such as computerized data processing systems, credit card payment systems, security systems, tablets, printers, and internet access. The Required Software includes computer software programs, accounting system software, established digital applications, and any updates or modifications to these.
Face Foundrie franchisees must comply with all standards and specifications issued by the franchisor regarding the Computer System, Required Software, and Computer Upgrades. The franchisor also has the right to access the franchisee's Computer System and Required Software. Additionally, Face Foundrie may require franchisees to pay reasonable fees to the franchisor or a designated third party for support and upgrades to the Computer System and Required Software. Franchisees are also responsible for the costs of technology licensed for use in the Facial Bar related to the Computer System and Required Software.
