What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Face Foundrie's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for hiring and providing a training program for their employees, and all employees must pass this training before providing services. Face Foundrie retains the right to approve the length and content of these training programs. This ensures that all employees, regardless of location, meet Face Foundrie's standards for service and quality.
Furthermore, Face Foundrie may require that manager-level employees become certified by them before they can train new or replacement employees. Face Foundrie can also test employees trained by these certified trainers and require them to complete additional training programs conducted by Face Foundrie periodically. The fee for these additional training programs is currently $400 per trainer per day, plus out-of-pocket expenses.
This level of oversight allows Face Foundrie to maintain consistency in service quality across all franchise locations. For a franchisee, this means they must be prepared to have their training programs reviewed and potentially modified by Face Foundrie. They should also factor in the potential costs of additional training and certification programs mandated by Face Foundrie, as well as the $400 per trainer per day fee plus expenses for additional training.
