What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Expense Reduction Analysts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to operate their consulting business from a separate office space under certain conditions: if their primary residence is not within the designated area, if Expense Reduction Analysts determines the business is not being operated professionally from a home office, or if the franchisee requests to operate from a separate office space. In the latter case, the proposed office space must meet Expense Reduction Analysts' then-current standards for such spaces. Expense Reduction Analysts retains the right to review, inspect, and approve any proposed rented office space.
Expense Reduction Analysts must provide written consent before a franchisee can relocate their office premises. Furthermore, Expense Reduction Analysts has the right to approve or disapprove the design and location of any signage installed at the office premises or anywhere else related to the consulting business.
However, the FDD does not provide specific details regarding the standards that a separately leased office space must meet. A prospective franchisee should inquire directly with Expense Reduction Analysts about the specific requirements and criteria for an acceptable office space to ensure compliance and approval.
