What operating system is required for the computer system used by an Expense Reduction Analysts franchisee?

According to Expense Reduction Analysts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to acquire and use a computer system capable of running the ERA Management Information System and other standard office programs. The computer system must also be able to access the Internet and Expense Reduction Analysts' servers. Expense Reduction Analysts may also require franchisees to upgrade their equipment to meet the then-current ERA System standards and to accommodate any upgrades to the ERA Management Information System or other software that Expense Reduction Analysts requires them to use. Franchisees must promptly comply with any such requests at their own cost.

At the date of the Franchise Disclosure Agreement, Expense Reduction Analysts suggests that franchisees use Windows 11 Home Edition (Business or Professional) as the operating system for their computer system. Expense Reduction Analysts also recommends that franchisees use the Chrome Browser and Antivirus Software. For public WiFi's, Expense Reduction Analysts recommends that franchisees use a VPN such as NordVPN or ExpressVPN.

It is important to note that Expense Reduction Analysts reserves the right to require franchisees to pay a Technology Fee associated with maintaining required computer hardware and software, hosting, and any other technology used in the operation of the Expense Reduction Analysts business. This fee may be collected monthly, quarterly, or annually and the amount of the fee is outlined in Section 9 of the Data Sheet. Expense Reduction Analysts reserves the right to change the amount of the fee or incorporate additional technology fees as changes are made to the ERA System's hardware, software and other computer requirements or as required by the third-party vendor(s) or by any regulatory agency.
