What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Expense Reduction Analysts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, new franchisees attending a conference in their first 12 months receive coverage for one person's conference fee. This is a notable benefit designed to ease the financial burden on new franchisees as they start their business.

However, Expense Reduction Analysts franchisees are responsible for all other costs associated with attending the conference. These costs include, but are not limited to, travel, hotel accommodations, food, and employee wages. This means that while the conference fee itself is covered for one person, franchisees need to budget for these additional expenses.

The conference fee that Expense Reduction Analysts covers for new franchisees is subject to an annual adjustment based on any increase published in the CPI (Consumer Price Index), as defined in section 34.15 of the agreement. The maximum conference fee is $1,500 per attendee, prior to any CPI adjustments. This fee coverage helps offset initial costs, but franchisees should be aware of the other expenses they will incur and the potential for the conference fee to increase over time.
