What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Expense Reduction Analysts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Expense Reduction Analysts franchisees are required to name the Franchisor and any affiliates that the Franchisor designates as additional insureds on all insurance policies they purchase.
This requirement ensures that Expense Reduction Analysts and its affiliates are protected under the franchisee's insurance policies, mitigating potential risks and liabilities. This is a common practice in franchising, as it provides an added layer of security for the franchisor's brand and operations.
The franchisee must also provide thirty (30) days' prior written notice to Expense Reduction Analysts of any material modification or cancellation of a policy. Additionally, the franchisee must submit a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to Expense Reduction Analysts before commencing business operations, demonstrating proof of the required insurance coverage. These stipulations ensure that Expense Reduction Analysts remains informed about the franchisee's insurance status and can take necessary actions if there are any changes or lapses in coverage.
Compliance with these insurance requirements is essential for Expense Reduction Analysts franchisees to maintain their franchise agreement and operate their consulting business. Failure to adhere to these requirements could result in penalties or termination of the franchise agreement.
