What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Expense Reduction Analysts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally prohibited from making copies of the ERA Manuals. The ERA Manuals contain confidential specifications, standards, and procedures for operating an Expense Reduction Analysts business and maintaining the ERA System.
However, there is a limited exception: franchisees may make copies of parts of the ERA Manuals if it is necessary to fulfill their obligations under the Franchise Agreement. Even with this exception, franchisees cannot copy, scan, duplicate, record, distribute, disseminate, or otherwise make the ERA Manuals available to any unauthorized person or entity, either in whole or in part, without the franchisor's prior written consent.
This restriction is in place to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the Expense Reduction Analysts system. Unauthorized distribution of the manuals could compromise proprietary information and undermine the consistency of the brand. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider these restrictions and ensure they have a clear understanding of what constitutes permissible copying for fulfilling their obligations under the agreement.
