Does the Expense Reduction Analysts Confidentiality and Restrictive Covenant Agreement state that the use or duplication of Confidential Information for any use outside the System is prohibited?

According to Expense Reduction Analysts' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Confidentiality and Restrictive Covenant Agreement specifies that using or duplicating Confidential Information outside of the Expense Reduction Analysts system is not allowed. The agreement states that the franchisee will not acquire any interest in the Confidential Information, other than the right to utilize it in the operation of the Franchised Business during the term.

The Confidential Information includes Expense Reduction Analysts' proprietary and confidential manuals, training materials, marketing methods, trade secrets, customer lists, contracts, information related to proprietary software, and techniques related to the operation of the franchised business. This information is disclosed to the franchisee for the purpose of training and assistance during the term of the Franchise Agreement.

The agreement emphasizes that the use or duplication of Confidential Information, whether in whole or in part, for any purpose outside the Expense Reduction Analysts system would be considered an unfair method of competition.
