What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Expense Reduction Analysts FDD, a franchisee's eligibility to select a renewal term of five or ten years is contingent upon meeting specific renewal conditions. These conditions ensure that the franchisee has maintained a satisfactory business relationship with Expense Reduction Analysts throughout the initial term of the agreement.
To be eligible for renewal, the Expense Reduction Analysts franchisee must provide written notice of their intent to renew the agreement between three and six months before the end of the current term. The franchisee must also be in good standing with Expense Reduction Analysts, meaning they are not in breach of the agreement either at the time of renewal notice or at the end of the term. Furthermore, they must have consistently fulfilled all material obligations under the agreement.
In addition to maintaining good standing and providing timely notice, the Expense Reduction Analysts franchisee must also meet certain financial and administrative requirements. This includes paying all outstanding amounts owed to Expense Reduction Analysts as of the renewal date, as well as paying the renewal fee outlined in the data sheet. The franchisee must also agree to enter into the then-current form of the regional franchise agreement, which may contain different terms and conditions. Finally, the franchisee and any guarantors must execute a general release in favor of Expense Reduction Analysts and successfully complete any further training or assessment required by Expense Reduction Analysts.
