When did Expense Reduction Analysts begin offering franchises for Consulting Businesses?

We have been offering the franchises for the right to own and operate Consulting Businesses since November 2002.
In November 2002, we also commenced offering qualified individual franchises for the right to serve as an independent area representative (an "Area Representative Franchise"). Up until 2018 we previously referred to Area Representatives as "Area Developers." In this Disclosure Document, we will, at times, refer to a franchised Consulting Business as a "Regional Franchise," and will, at times, refer to those that own a Consulting Business as a "Regional Franchisee."
We do not currently intend to continue offering and selling Area Representative Franchises. The owner of an Area Representative Franchise will, at times, be referred to as an "Area Representative" in this Disclosure Document. Area Representatives may, but need not, invite Regional Franchisees to work with them on projects and act as a resource for the Regional Franchisees. As of December 31, 2023, we have 6 Area Representative Franchisees operating 5 outlets (of which one Area outlet is company owned) and 144 Regional Franchisees.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Expense Reduction Analysts's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company began offering franchises for Consulting Businesses in November 2002. The FDD also clarifies that Expense Reduction Analysts refers to a franchised Consulting Business as a "Regional Franchise."
In addition to Consulting Business franchises, Expense Reduction Analysts also started offering franchises for independent area representatives, termed "Area Representative Franchise," in November 2002. These Area Representatives were previously known as "Area Developers" until 2018. However, Expense Reduction Analysts does not currently plan to continue offering Area Representative Franchises.
As of December 31, 2023, Expense Reduction Analysts had 144 Regional Franchisees and 6 Area Representative Franchisees operating 5 outlets, one of which is company-owned. This indicates that the primary focus of Expense Reduction Analysts's franchising efforts has been on the Regional Franchise model for Consulting Businesses.
