What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, each Sponsoring Bonus is subject to a Sponsoring Bonus Fee. This fee is 10% of the Sponsoring Bonus per Transaction Side, with a maximum of $75 per Transaction Side. This fee is applied to each transaction where a sponsoring bonus is earned.
Sponsoring Bonus Fees for referrals between Exit offices are pro-rated, similar to the terms outlined in Section 6.c) of the FDD. This suggests that the fee may be adjusted based on the specifics of the referral arrangement between different Exit offices.
Exit deducts the Sponsoring Bonus Fee before distributing the Sponsoring Bonus. The Sponsoring Bonus Fee will no longer be charged once the sponsored Sales Representative generates $100,000 of gross commissions for their franchise in a calendar year. This amount is pro-rated in the first calendar year. Also, in the event of the death of the Sponsor, an additional administration fee of $35 will be deducted from each Sponsoring Bonus prior to disbursement.
