What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the restoration of the Sponsoring Bonus to the 10% level for Sales Representatives is not retroactive. The Sponsoring Bonus will be restored to 10% immediately upon the finalization of the 8th Transaction Side or $40,000 in gross closed Commissions in the current calendar year by the Sales Representative.

This means that once an Exit Sales Representative reaches either of these milestones (8 transaction sides or $40,000 in gross closed commissions), their Sponsoring Bonus will return to the full 10% for any subsequent transactions. However, the increase does not apply retroactively to previous transactions completed before reaching the milestone.

For a prospective Exit franchisee, this policy means that it's important to understand how the Sponsoring Bonus works and to track transaction sides and commission earnings. Sales Representatives who are part-time or retired will have their Sponsoring Bonuses reduced to 7% until they meet the requirements for restoration. Therefore, it is important to understand the requirements to get the bonus restored to the full 10%.
