What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Subfranchisor will maintain reasonable supervision over the Franchisee as often as the Subfranchisor deems necessary. This supervision is intended to assure the Franchisee's compliance with the Exit System and any supplemental quality control standards established by Exit and the Subfranchisor. The supervision also aims to provide guidance in the management and operations of the Franchisee's office.

In addition to the Subfranchisor's supervision, Exit also has the right to inspect and audit the Franchisee's books, records, and procedures. The Franchisee should expect regular and frequent inspections at reasonable times by agents or representatives of Exit and/or the Subfranchisor. These inspections will cover all books, records, MLS agent rosters and MLS transaction reports, procedures, and services to determine compliance with the Franchise Agreement.

The Franchisee is required to cooperate with these inspections and promptly address any deficiencies identified by Exit or the Subfranchisor, regardless of whether they are formally notified. Furthermore, the Franchisee must strictly adhere to the rules of operation established by Exit and the Subfranchisor, including specific System standards and quality control directives issued periodically. Adherence to these rules is considered a material condition of the Franchise Agreement, highlighting the importance of maintaining Exit's quality control standards.
