Currently, initial training programs are conducted a minimum of twice annually. The training program runs for 5 full days and covers each of the subjects listed in the Table of Contents of the Training Course Manuals. Training times and instructors for each subject vary from program to program.

You must pay the travel, lodging, meals and incidental expenses of those attending the initial training program. Training is presently conducted at EXIT's Mississauga, Ontario headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia and/or online. It may also be conducted at a location selected by EXIT Realty Upper Midwest. See Franchise Agreement, Article 9. EXIT charges you $500, if you sign up and fail to attend the training or if you cancel on less than 30 days' notice. If you cancel in less than 10 days EXIT charges you $1,000. At the option of EXIT, some or all of the training may be online.

You and any individual who will serve as the administrator of your Franchise office must attend and complete the initial training program to EXIT Realty Upper Midwest and EXIT's satisfaction. At

According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, initial training programs are conducted a minimum of twice annually. These programs are led by Exit Executives, who have at least 8 years of experience in the relevant field. The training spans 5 full days, covering subjects listed in the Training Course Manuals. The specific training times and instructors may vary for each program.

Prospective Exit franchisees should note that they are responsible for covering the costs of travel, lodging, meals, and incidental expenses for themselves and their staff attending the initial training. Training sessions are currently held at Exit's headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, Atlanta, Georgia, and/or online. The training may also be conducted at a location selected by EXIT Realty Upper Midwest.

Exit also charges franchisees $500 if they sign up for training but fail to attend or cancel with less than 30 days' notice. If the cancellation occurs less than 10 days before the training, the cancellation fee increases to $1,000. Exit retains the option to conduct some or all of the training online. Franchisees and their office administrators must attend and complete the initial training program to the satisfaction of both Exit Realty Upper Midwest and Exit. Attendance is mandatory at the next scheduled training following the execution of the Franchise Agreement.
