What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, each Sponsoring Bonus is subject to a Sponsoring Bonus Fee. This fee is calculated as 10% of the Sponsoring Bonus per Transaction Side, but it is capped at a maximum of $75 per Transaction Side. This fee is deducted by Exit before the Sponsoring Bonus is paid out to the sponsor.

This means that for every real estate transaction a sponsored sales representative completes, Exit will deduct a fee from the sponsoring bonus. The fee will be 10% of the bonus amount, but it will never exceed $75 for each side of the transaction. For example, if the sponsoring bonus is $500, the fee would be $50 (10% of $500). If the sponsoring bonus is $1,000, the fee would be capped at $75, not $100 (10% of $1,000).

It's also important to note that the Sponsoring Bonus Fee will cease once the sponsored Sales Representative generates $100,000 of gross Commissions for their Franchise(s) in that calendar year, with this amount being pro-rated in the first calendar year. Additionally, in the event of the death of the Sponsor, an additional administration fee of $35 will be deducted from each Sponsoring Bonus prior to disbursement.
