What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to provide MLS reports to the Subfranchisor. These reports must be submitted on the 15th day following each calendar quarter. The MLS reports should include the current agent roster and all transactions closed within the previous calendar quarter for each MLS the franchisee is a member of.
This requirement ensures that the Subfranchisor has access to up-to-date information regarding the franchisee's agent roster and transaction activity. This allows the Subfranchisor to monitor the franchisee's compliance with the franchise agreement and the Exit system. It also helps in tracking the overall performance and growth of the Exit franchise network.
For a prospective Exit franchisee, this means regularly compiling and submitting these MLS reports. Failure to provide these reports in a timely and accurate manner could potentially lead to issues with the Subfranchisor and may constitute a breach of the franchise agreement. Therefore, franchisees need to establish a system for collecting and organizing this data to ensure compliance with this reporting requirement.
