What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all sales associates must acknowledge and sign a standard working agreement known as the EXIT Sales Representative Agreement. The terms outlined in this agreement are valid unless changes are approved in writing by both parties involved. The policy manual is designed to complement the agreement and may be included as an exhibit. The content of the manual is in addition to the terms set forth in the agreement and does not supersede any of those terms.
Furthermore, all agents are required to review and sign a copy of the EXIT Formula, which forms an exhibit to the EXIT Sales Representative Agreement. This indicates that the Sales Representative Agreement is a crucial document governing the relationship between the franchisee and their sales associates.
While the FDD mentions the existence and importance of the EXIT Sales Representative Agreement and its exhibits, it does not explicitly state that a copy of the agreement is included in the FDD. A prospective franchisee should ask Exit whether a sample copy of the Sales Representative Agreement is included in the FDD or can be provided separately for review.
