What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Sales Representatives receive a higher commission rate once they exceed a certain gross commission threshold within a calendar year. Specifically, Exit pays its Sales Representatives 90% of all gross commissions exceeding $100,000 per calendar year. This increased commission rate applies to the remainder of the calendar year once the Sales Representative reaches the $100,000 threshold.

This commission structure is designed to incentivize Sales Representatives to increase their sales volume. By offering a higher percentage of commissions on earnings above $100,000, Exit motivates representatives to close more deals and generate more revenue for both themselves and the franchise. This can be a significant benefit for high-performing agents who consistently exceed this threshold.

It's important to note that the initial $100,000 of gross commissions is paid at a rate of 70%. The 90% rate only applies to the portion exceeding this amount. Also, the commission structure is pro-rated in the first calendar year, meaning that new Sales Representatives may have a different threshold or calculation method during their initial period with Exit.
