What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, each Exit Associate must pay an annual membership fee of $425. This fee is non-refundable and is due upon the effective date of the Sales Representative's Agreement or when the person joins the Exit system. Subsequently, the fee is due each year on July 1st. For the first year, the annual membership is prorated based on the number of days remaining until the following July 1st.
Franchises are responsible for collecting and paying the Annual Membership fees of their Exit Associates to Exit. Payment to Exit must be made immediately upon the signing of the new Sales Representative or Exit Associate Agreement and on the annual renewal date of July 1st. Payment methods include electronic funds transfer or the franchise's check. Exit Associates can also pay online directly using VISA® or MasterCard® on the July 1st renewal date. However, personal checks are not accepted.
Exit also offers a loyalty discount for associates who have been in the Exit system for 5 years or longer and have consistently paid their annual membership dues. The discount is calculated in 5-year increments of 5%, with discounts ranging from $21.25 (5% discount) for 5-10 years of membership to $106.25 (25% discount) for over 25 years of membership. It's important to note that failure to pay the Annual Membership by the seventh day after its due date results in a late fee of $50.
