What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Exit agrees to provide all agents with information regarding company listings. Additionally, at an agent's request, the Broker/Manager will furnish advice, information, and full cooperation as reasonably requested by the agent. However, Exit stipulates that agents retain discretion over their methods, techniques, and procedures for soliciting and obtaining listings, sales, rentals, or leases of listed property, except where specifically required by law.

This means that while Exit provides access to company listing information and support from the Broker/Manager, agents are largely responsible for how they conduct their business. This setup allows for flexibility and independence, which can be attractive to experienced real estate professionals.

Prospective franchisees should consider how this balance of support and autonomy aligns with their working style and business goals. It's important to understand the extent of the 'information' provided and the responsiveness of the Broker/Manager to agent requests, as these factors can significantly impact an agent's success within the Exit system.
