What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company agrees to provide its agents with advice, information, and full cooperation upon reasonable request from the agent. This commitment ensures that agents have access to the support they need to perform their duties effectively. However, Exit also states that it has no authority to direct or control an agent's actions unless specifically required by law.

This arrangement allows Exit agents to maintain discretion over their methods, techniques, and procedures in securing listings, sales, rentals, or leases. The agents retain control over their operational practices while still benefiting from the support and resources provided by the brokerage. This balance between independence and support is a key aspect of the agent-broker relationship within the Exit franchise system.

For a prospective franchisee, this means they can expect to receive assistance and guidance from the Broker/Manager when needed, but they will also have the autonomy to manage their business as they see fit. This can be particularly appealing to experienced real estate professionals who value independence but also want the backing of a well-established brand and support system. It's important for potential franchisees to understand the scope of this support and how it aligns with their individual business needs and preferences.
