What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Exit's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have control over hiring Sales Representatives. The FDD specifies that franchisees should make every effort to develop a high-quality sales force to assist the public in real estate transactions in an ethical and business-like manner.

Exit provides a 'Sponsoring' process to assist franchisees in attracting high-quality workers. This involves rewarding individuals who introduce new sales representatives to the Exit system. A Sponsoring Bonus is paid to the person responsible for the introduction that results in the recruitment of a new Sales Representative into the Exit System.

Each Exit Associate is eligible to receive a Sponsoring Bonus for Sponsoring equal to 10% of the gross Commissions generated by the Recruit, up to a maximum of $10,000 per Recruit per calendar year. This bonus is paid by Exit, less any applicable Sponsoring Bonus Fees. The Sponsoring process is intended to incentivize the recruitment of new sales representatives into the Exit system, but the ultimate hiring decision rests with the franchisee.
