. IHG will use commercially reasonable efforts to assist Licensee with the installation, implementation, and maintenance of IHG Concerto.

- Training. IHG or a Service Provider will provide training services for Licensee's employees in the use of IHG Concerto at implementation and as new releases are available. Licensee shall cause the staff who will use IHG Concerto to participate in and comply with the training. Instructor-led training (onsite or remote) is conducted prior to operations of IHG Concerto. As new releases are available IHG will provide self-paced training to Hotel. Licensee's hotel staff is required to attend and to demonstrate proficiency with IHG Concerto. Licensee will provide adequate space for training during normal business hours.

- Denial of Access. Licensee acknowledges and agrees that IHG may, at the sole discretion and election of IHG and without prior notice to Licensee, immediately disable, disconnect, or otherwise deny access to IHG's infrastructure with respect to (i) any Hardware or Software specified as prohibited in the Minimum Configuration, and (ii) any Hardware containing prohibited Software.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, IHG has the right to deny an Even Hotels franchisee access to its infrastructure under specific circumstances related to hardware and software. IHG can immediately disable, disconnect, or deny access without prior notice if the franchisee uses hardware or software prohibited by the Minimum Configuration standards. The franchisee is also prohibited from operating or modifying its hardware or software in any way that could negatively impact the operations of either the franchisee's own systems or IHG's systems. Such detrimental effects include rendering hardware or software inoperable or unresponsive, as determined by IHG. These stipulations ensure that all Even Hotels locations maintain a certain level of technological compliance and security to safeguard the IHG network and guest data.
