What third-party providers support the Next-Gen Payments Solution for Even Hotels?

The Next-Gen Payments Solution replaces the secure payment solution previously in use by IHG and Hotel and is supported by key third party providers including FreedomPay, Inc. ("FreedomPay"), Oracle Corporation ("Oracle"), Hewlett-Packard, Inc. ("HPI"), Hewlett-Packard Financial Services Company ("HPFS"), Fiserv, Inc. ("Fiserv," together with FreedomPay, Oracle, HPI, and HPFS, the "Third Party Providers"). Hotel desires to procure from IHG, and IHG desires to provide to Hotel, the Next-Gen Payments Solution, pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, that will consist of hardware, software, and services including those provided by the Third Party Providers.
Hotel acknowledges that FreedomPay is the provider of the payment gateway services provided to Hotel through the Next-Gen Payments Solution. Hotel agrees to the following Third Party Terms required by FreedomPay:
Hotel acknowledges that, although IHG will process the on-boarding of Hotel, administer payments related to the Next-Gen Payments Solution, and facilitate support for Hotel, FreedomPay is the provider of the payment gateway services.
Hotel will be accessing a single hosted environment configured for IHG, and Hotel does not have the right or ability to customize the hosted environment for its individual needs.
The payment of fees and requests for service, and other interaction with FreedomPay will be routed through IHG, acting as a facilitator.

While IHG handles the onboarding, payment administration, and support facilitation, FreedomPay delivers the underlying payment gateway technology. The hotel accesses a hosted environment configured for IHG and cannot customize it for individual needs. All payment and service requests are routed through IHG, which acts as an intermediary with FreedomPay.
As an Even Hotels franchisee, it's crucial to understand that while IHG manages the relationship with these third-party providers, the hotel is still subject to the terms and conditions set forth by these providers, particularly FreedomPay. The franchisee is responsible for ensuring their hardware, software, and data connectivity comply with FreedomPay's requirements, including PCI compliance and adherence to the FreedomPay P2PE Instruction Manual (PIM). Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the hotel incurring additional fees or losing certain benefits.
