What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, training services for the IHG Concerto system are provided either by IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) or a service provider. This training is provided to Even Hotels' employees both during the initial implementation of the system and when new releases of the software become available.

The FDD specifies that Even Hotels franchisees must ensure their staff who will be using IHG Concerto participate in and comply with the training programs. The training includes instructor-led sessions, which can be conducted either on-site or remotely, prior to the hotel commencing operations with IHG Concerto. Furthermore, as new versions of the software are released, IHG will provide self-paced training modules to the hotel staff.

The Even Hotels franchisee is responsible for ensuring that their hotel staff attends the training and demonstrates proficiency in using IHG Concerto. Additionally, the franchisee must provide adequate space for conducting the training during normal business hours. This ensures that the staff is well-prepared to use the system effectively, which is crucial for managing reservations, revenue, guest relations, and overall hotel operations.
