What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Even Hotels's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a $10,000 nonrefundable fee for the inspection of your hotel and the preparation of the Property Improvement Plan (PIP) is due at the time the PIP is prepared. This fee is required before submitting an application for a conversion, re-licensing, change of ownership, or brand change.

The PIP outlines the upgrades, construction, and furnishing needed to meet the current Even Hotels standards. For conversion hotels, Even Hotels will not authorize the hotel to open until all PIP requirements are completed, including submitting plans before construction starts, according to the dates specified in the License and Attachment "B" of the License.

Furthermore, if the hotel fails its opening inspection, Even Hotels may charge an additional $5,000 plus expenses for each re-evaluation and re-inspection. This highlights the importance of adhering to the PIP requirements to avoid additional costs and delays in opening the Even Hotels location.
