What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a party can update its notice address by providing written notification to the other parties involved, following the guidelines outlined in Section 11.2 of the agreement.
Section 11.2 specifies that any notice, approval, agreement, or communication required or permitted under the agreement must be in writing. It is considered duly given and delivered either on the date of in-person delivery or on the date of receipt if sent by overnight express or registered/certified mail with return receipt requested.
This written notice should be sent to the appropriate addresses: for HotelKey, it's the address in the preamble; for the Hotel, it's the address in the Hotel Agreement; and for IHG, it's the address in Section 11.9. By adhering to these guidelines, all parties ensure that official communications are properly directed and received, maintaining clear and documented correspondence throughout the term of the agreement.
