Answer from 2025 FDD Document

From time to time, IHG or an Affiliate of IHG may enter into an Enabling Agreement with a Service Provider to provide optional Hardware, Software, and Services that are not included in the Core Services or the Additional Required Services ("Optional Services").

As determined by IHG, Licensee may receive the benefits of the negotiated terms, conditions, and pricing for the Optional Services obtained by IHG in the Enabling Agreements with Service Providers, and may obtain the Optional Services, by entering into an Order Form and/or a Participation Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Optional Services are hardware, software, and services not included in the Core Services or Additional Required Services. These Optional Services are made available through Enabling Agreements that IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) or its affiliates enter into with Service Providers.

An Even Hotels franchisee may benefit from the negotiated terms, conditions, and pricing IHG secures in these Enabling Agreements. To obtain Optional Services, a franchisee must enter into an Order Form or a Participation Agreement with the Service Provider. These services, along with Core and Additional Required Services, are collectively referred to as 'Curated Solutions'.

It's important to note that the terms governing these services are detailed in Schedule 4 (Supplemental Terms) of the Master Technology Services Schedule, which IHG can modify with ten days' written notice. Franchisees should carefully review these terms and any associated agreements before committing to Optional Services, as they form part of the overall technology framework for operating an Even Hotels franchise.
