APPLICATION FEE:
When you submit an application for an EVEN Hotels® License, whether for a new development, conversion, change of ownership or re-licensing, you must pay Holiday an initial application fee (the "Application Fee") of $500 per guest room, but not less than $75,000.
See Item 6 for information relating to the requirements and fees for changes of ownership, licensee name changes, re-alignment of the licensee's ownership and re-licensing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, when submitting an application for a license, franchisees must pay an initial application fee. This fee applies to new developments, conversions, changes of ownership, or re-licensing. The application fee is calculated as $500 per guest room, with a minimum fee of $75,000.
This means that even if a prospective Even Hotels location has fewer than 150 rooms (resulting in a per-room fee lower than $75,000), the franchisee must still pay the $75,000 minimum. For example, a hotel with 100 rooms would still be required to pay $75,000, not $50,000 (100 rooms x $500).
The FDD states that all fees are fully earned upon receipt and are generally non-refundable. However, if Even Hotels does not approve the application, or if the applicant withdraws before approval, the application fee will be returned, less a $15,000 processing fee to cover the costs of evaluating the application. Once Even Hotels approves the application, the fee becomes nonrefundable, even if approval is later revoked due to unmet requirements.
