Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You acknowledge that Microsoft and Six Continents Hotels, Inc. ("customer") have entered into Microsoft Enterprise Enrollment, No. S1263062 (the "agreement"), under which you desire to sublicense certain Microsoft products. As used in this Participation Agreement, the term to "run" a product means to copy, install, use, access, display, run or otherwise interact with it. You acknowledge that your right to run a copy of any version of any product sublicensed under the agreement is governed by the applicable product use rights for the product and version licensed as of the date you first run that copy. Such product use rights will be made available to you by the customer, or by publication at a designated site on the World Wide Web, or by some other means. Microsoft does not transfer any ownership rights in any licensed product and it reserves all rights not expressly granted.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Microsoft Enterprise Enrollment number associated with the Microsoft Select Participation Agreement is No. S1263062. This agreement allows franchisees to sublicense certain Microsoft products under the terms set by Microsoft and Six Continents Hotels, Inc., also referred to as "customer" in the agreement.

As an Even Hotels franchisee, you are granted the right to use Microsoft products, but this right is subject to the product use rights applicable to the specific product and version licensed. These rights are provided by the customer (Six Continents Hotels, Inc.) or through a designated website or other means. It is important to understand that Microsoft retains ownership rights and only grants a sublicense to use the products.

The franchisee must agree to the terms and conditions of the product use rights and is bound by the provisions outlined in the Participation Agreement. This includes restrictions on use, as detailed in the agreement. Compliance with these terms is essential for maintaining the right to use the Microsoft products and avoiding any potential legal issues with Microsoft.
