What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, FreedomPay has a specific policy regarding transaction submission deadlines. Even Hotels is expected to submit or report transactions to FreedomPay for settlement within 60 days of the actual transaction date.
If Even Hotels submits transactions after this 60-day window, FreedomPay will attempt to settle the transactions only if the necessary data is still available. However, FreedomPay assumes no liability to Even Hotels if it cannot settle these late transactions. This means that Even Hotels bears the risk of not receiving payment for transactions submitted beyond the 60-day timeframe.
This policy highlights the importance of timely transaction processing for Even Hotels franchisees. To avoid potential loss of revenue, franchisees must ensure their systems and procedures are set up to submit transaction data to FreedomPay within the stipulated period. This includes proper staff training and monitoring of transaction processing workflows. Franchisees should proactively manage their transaction submissions to align with FreedomPay's requirements and mitigate any financial risks associated with late submissions.
