What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the equipment is manufactured by a third party and is subject to a warranty provided by that third party. Even Hotels assigns this warranty to the hotel franchisee. If the warranty cannot be assigned, Even Hotels will pass through the benefit of such warranties to the franchisee and cooperate with the franchisee in this respect.
This means that while Even Hotels does not directly warrant the equipment, they ensure that the franchisee benefits from the manufacturer's warranty. This is a common practice in franchising, where the franchisor sources equipment from third-party suppliers but facilitates the warranty process for the franchisee.
As an Even Hotels franchisee, it is important to understand the terms and conditions of the manufacturer's warranty, including the coverage period, what is covered, and the process for making a claim. Franchisees should also maintain proper documentation of equipment purchases and any warranty-related communications with Even Hotels or the manufacturer.
