What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Even Hotels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adopt all improvements or changes to the Brand System as designated by IHG. The Brand System includes elements designed to identify Even Hotels to the public, contribute to that identification, or reflect the quality standards and business practices of those hotels. IHG has the right to periodically change the Brand System by adding, modifying, altering, and/or deleting elements.

IHG will communicate each change in the Standards to the franchisee in writing at least 30 days before it takes effect. This communication can be in hard paper copy or, at IHG's option, in digital, electronic, or other computerized form. If the communication is digital, the franchisee must pay any costs to retrieve, review, use, or access it. IHG's designated internal franchise committee or subcommittee must approve any such change and determine that the change was adopted in good faith and is consistent with the long-term overall interests of the Brand System.

This requirement ensures consistency across all Even Hotels locations and allows IHG to maintain and enhance the brand's reputation. However, it also means franchisees must be prepared to adapt to changes and invest in updates or modifications as directed by IHG. Franchisees should factor in potential costs associated with these changes when evaluating the franchise opportunity.
